Day 1: Arrival and Traditional welcome and start journey towards Shillong. On the way Umium lake and Shopping at police bazaar. Stay at Shillong.
Day 2: Shillong local site seeing like cathedral, Don Bosco museum, Lady Hydri park, Shillong peak, Elephant falls, Police bazaar, Wards Lake etc. Stay at Shillong.
Day 3: Shillong to Dawki Mawlynnong, Asias cleanest village, living root bridge, balancing rock, indo- bangla border, Boating at Umgnot river etc. Return to Cherrapunji and stay.
Day 4: Cherrapunji local site seeing like seven sister and Nokhalikhai falls, Arwa and mawsmai cave. Thangsarang falls, Eco park etc. Overnight at Cherapunji.
Day 5: Cherrapunji to Kaziranga National Park. On the way Maha mrityunjay temple. Evening Jeep safari, local market and orchid garden. Dinner at Pelican Dhaba for taste of local fish from inside Kaziranga forest. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 6: Early morning elephant safari have breakfast and proceed towards Bhalukpong. Visit Nameri National Park on the way. Stay at Bhalukpong or Nameri National park (Assam Arunachal Border)
Day 7: Bhalukpong/ Nameri to Bomdila. Bomdila is a hill station perched at an altitude of 2450mts. Places to see will include tipi orchidendron, sessa, nag mandir, Tenga valley, tenga haat etc. Check in at hotel in Bomdila amidst lush greenery.
Day 8: Bomdila to Tawang via Sela pass (14000ft). Site seeing today includes Bomdila monastery, Lower and middle Gompa, Sela pass, Sela lake, Jaswant garh, Nuranang falls and check in at hotel in Tawang.
Day 9: After breakfast out on local tour of Tawang. Tawang (8800ft) is a mountaineous town known for the Tawang monastery second largest after the potala palace, Tibet. Visit Tawang Monastery, Giant Buddha statue, war memorial, light show in the evening, Local market and get the permit ready for next days Bumla tour.
Day 10: After breakfast start on the day long tour of Bumla. Please note that a separate vehicle has to be taken for the tour today as Indian government only allows local vehicles to visit the Bumla sector. Site seeing includes Bumla pass, India chinna border, Madhuri lake, PT sao lake etc.
Day 11: Tawang to Dirang. Dirang is a valley on the return route. Remaining sightseeing and visit Dirang Monastery, hot spring etc. Stay at Dirang
Day 12: Dirang to Guwahati via Kalaktang. On the way visit Gyuto Monastery, tea gardens and several other view points. Check in at hotel in Guwahati.
Day 13: Guwahati local. Kamakhya temple, Umananda temple, ropeway, Basistha Ashram, Balaji temple, Kalakshetra, Assam silk/ tea shopping at Fancy Bazaar etc. Stay at Guwahati.
Day 14: Guwahati to Kohima. After breakfast start long journey to Kohima. More than the destination the journey is very beautiful and cannot be expressed by words. Overnight at Kohima.
Day 15: Kohima local. Today you can visit the market and the war cemetery, Hornbill festival site and heritage village and head for Khonoma. Khonoma is a heritage village and the history will shock you beyond ways you can imagine. Overnight at Kohima.
Day 16: Kohima to Dzukou valley. Today wake up early and leave. Get along with the guide for the Dzukou valley trek and start from Zakhama. Dzukou trek is a trekkers delight and people from all over the globe throng the place. Soak in the serenity of the surroundings. Overnight at Dzukou valley guest house.
Day 17: Dzukou valley to Imphal. Today you can visit Loktak lake, thanga, Kangla fort, Ima Market (Woman market), Imphal war cemetery, INA Museum, ISKON temple etc. Overnight at Imphal.
Day 18: Today early in the morning start journey to India Myanmar border. The town on Indian side is called Moreh and on the Myanmar side is called Tamu. You can get a feel of the Burmese culture by visiting the market here. You can shop for the Myanmar products here. In the Evening return to Imphal and fly back. Trip end!!!
